Why so serious?

21st July

[EDIT] Some crazy stuff is happening to my index page and I don't like it. I'm on the verge of just going AWOL from this website if this keeps up. [/EDIT]

I went to watch The Dark Knight as soon as it premiered (which was the 16th I think). I'm not like a die-hard fan of Batman - I'm more of an X-Men girl if I had to choose one comic book to be a fan of - but after this, I think I might watch every sequel of the Batman. But it won't be the same without Heath's version of The Joker.

My mum told my sister and me to choose the movie we're gonna watch. My sister wanted to watch Get Smart. I wanted to watch Hancock. My mum would prefer Mama Mia if it was her choice. Then I remembered The Dark Knight and thought why don't we watch that instead. (I was able to pester my sister to agree with me) Initially, I chose that only because I wanted to see if the movie was good as the hype it was creating. I quite liked the first one Batman Begins. Now, I absolutely love The Dark Knight. It is better than the hype. It is awesome. Heath was awesome. Everything about it is awesome. I'm still recovering from the bang bangs of the gunfights in there. But I still want to watch it again. And whatever reason you have for wanting to watch it, it doesn't matter, just go watch it! The cynic in me says that the only reason The Dark Knight will be a success is because of the ill-timing of Heath's death but really though, it is one of the best movies of 2008. It might even be better than Harry Potter 6! Might be, I'm not sure as I haven't actually watched it.

But the joy of watching the movie has now worn off what with school re-opening tomorrow. And I've got a speech to present first thing in the morning. I just want this week to be over and done with. I want Friday to be here. I want my birthday to be here. I want Breaking Dawn for my birthday!!!! And I don't feel like adding anything to my site. I'm thinking of getting a livejournal account. It seems much more livelier. My site's like almost dead and it'a mostly my fault. Blogging has become such a chore for me and every thing I do on Photoshop looks ugly and uncreative. I don't even care if my affiliates and visitors stop visiting my site. I just can't be bothered enough.
